About Adrian Gibson
Adrian has been playing trumpet since the age of 7. He swiftly learned the basics and gained a music scholarship to Sedbergh School where he met Ian Hamilton. Ian set up a lesson with jazz trumpet supremo Humphrey Lyttleton and the rest is history.
Adrian then went onto gain a place at Leeds College of Music on the jazz course and walked away with the brass prize in his final year.
Since turning professional Adrian has worked with a multitude of national and international artists including Elaine Delmar, King Pleasure and the Biscuit boys, Kelis, Boo Radleys, Jimmy Osmond and recently auditioned for the Jacksons tour. He is an in demand international trumpet player and loves playing for the Chris Bevington Organisation and is particularly proud of the new album. ‘We managed to get some real interesting horn lines in on this one. Scott Ralph was our catalyst but the whole sound and indeed band was our inspiration. Goose bumps time’
Playing the blues was where Adrian started and inspired by the like of Gary Moore and Joe Bonamasa has now realised his dream of playing with a world class blues band.
